Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Dog Trainer to join our dedicated team. As a Dog Trainer at Breyers Canine Academy, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong bonds between dogs and their owners while helping them achieve desired behaviors. Your responsibilities will include conducting training sessions, addressing specific behavioral issues, and advocating positive reinforcement techniques. YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO SHAPE BEHAVIORS AND COMMANDS WITHOUT LURING. YOU MUST BE OKAY WITH USING A E-COLLAR. Responsibilities: * Conduct personalized, one-on-one training sessions with dogs of various breeds and ages. * Assess each dog's behavior and create tailored training plans based on their individual needs. * Teach essential verbal commands and address specific behavioral issues such as excessive barking, jumping, and leash pulling. * Employ positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors and discourage undesirable ones. * Educate dog owners on effective training techniques and provide guidance on handling their dogs. * Monitor and evaluate the progress of each dog throughout the training program. * Maintain detailed records of each dog's training history and progress. * Stay current with the latest dog training methods and industry trends. Qualifications: * Proven 2-3 years' experience as a Dog Trainer or a minimum of 75 dogs trained. * Successful completion of a background check. * Proficiency in positive and motivational training methods. * Certification or formal education in dog training is advantageous but not mandatory.
